Slow down and enjoy life. It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast, you also miss the sense of where you are going and why. --Eddie Cantor

Well, that was depressing. People who are miserable taking that misery out on others and then blaming the victims. sigh.

Interesting piece about cyberculture and what causes online communities to grow - mostly good examples of online groups that have done it (at least one thing anyway) right.

I tend to be terse. Or, once in a while, pages of wandering stream of consciousness. Mostly, though, I just don't communicate. Shrug - do as the spirit moves you. Five sentences.

Interesting information about where the people connected to TechTV are now.

I do find one of the photos . . . disturbing - the one of Morgan Webb. The photo that was used for some article about video games.

On one side there are Leo Laporte and John Dvorak who at least in the photos I've seen they could pass for fairly sedate teachers in the principal's office. The women - like Morgan Webb and Amber Macarthur - I've seen photos that could pass for bad girls on dating sites. I didn't see the photographs in Maxim or Vanity Fair even, but on serious web sites. The males look avuncular. sigh. These things really depress me . . . and piss me off.

I heard about the two bothers on NPR who decided to vblog each other every day (M-F) instead of texting. I've only watched a couple, they are sorta nerdy and cute. I don't quite get the advantage of why video blogging so much better than text. Yeah, I know there are images involved, I guess not really my orientation.

But, but, I only want you to exclude the people that I don't like. The ones that you don't like are okay. Of course since you don't want me, that obviously shows how crappy your taste is.

I do want an invitation - but only so that I can turn it down. What is the name of this site and why do people want to join? Oh, never mind.
